Review: FlipBelt AND GIVEAWAY

A few weeks ago I did something that for me is wild and crazy…

I went white water rafting! It was so much fun and terrifying all at the same time. My work wanted to do a fun staff day so instead of being a desk jockey, I loaded up into a car and headed to Buena Vista. As a staff we would be cruising down the Arkansas River with Noah’s Ark.

As I was packing that morning I looked around my room to make sure that I had everything the folks at Noah’s Ark recommended to stay warm and dry.

Just as I was about to close up my bag and leave I remember the super awesome thing that came in the mail the night before- My FlipBelt!

So when my belt arrived in the mail I was eager to try it out and let you all know what I thought. I didn’t want to take it on the standard run that most people do- you can read all about other people’s experiences with it running here.

When I ordered my belt they asked me if I wanted a plastic bag for my iPhone, and I said yes. The bag is thicker than a ziplock and fit my phone perfectly.

As our crew got ready to load into the boats, my coworkers watched me load my phone into my FlipBelt. I put the phone in its plastic pouch, slid it into a slit in the belt, and rolled the belt down so that the slit opening was in the middle of the belt, against my tummy.

They thought I was crazy.

I thought it was ingenious.

Out on the Arkansas River, I got soaked. Our little raft was tossed all over the place, and it was freezing, but an hour later we reached shore and I checked on my phone.

All was well.

I started thinking of all the other places I wanted to take my FlipBelt- hiking 14ers, camping in the woods, walking the dog. There are so many more applications for this product!
